LED beacon for VIPER 2 Pete

Does anybody know how to get the newest version of the LED Beacons to work on the VIPER2 Peterbilt?

If you're talking about the LED bar beacon from D3S Design - then open the .scs file and drill down through these directories:

def/vehicle/truck/

in there, rename the directory:

peterbilt.389

to

peterbilt.389v2

then drill down to the directory:

def/vehicle/truck/peterbilt.389v2/accessory/beacon/

in there, edit the file:

c1ledbar.sii

Change the line:

accessory_addon_data: c1ledbar.peterbilt.389.beacon

to

accessory_addon_data: c1ledbar.peterbilt.389v2.beacon

That should do it.

Oh shiz, I just noticed there are two light bars available in the later mod. Ok well the process is the same except you'll have two .sii files to edit. Same edit for both files, nothing changes except you need to make the changes for both files instead of just the one.

Just make sure that in the .sii files, you ONLY change the name of the truck identifier from .peterbilt.389. to .peterbilt.389v2. Don't change any other part of that line.

Yeah bro there is a clear LED beacon now, it looks sick thats why i wanted it on my 389

yea chemical / fuel trailers have that led beacon now, looks awesome at night

yes it does, i was talking about the beacon on top of the truck for oversized loads
