Engine whistle sound?

Anyone else here a strange kind of whistle on the exterior engine sounds with the Kenworth W900? It was not there before the AZ update.

Yup it was changed to match the real life sound of the truck. It is normal.

its part of the AZ update, it makes the W900 sound much more like the real thing with the turbo being as loud as it is.

My initial plan was to buy the Kenworth W900, but my ears hate that high pitched whistle sound. It may be realistic, but it's downright painful. I guess if I really have to have the Kenworth someday I'll have to find a mod that "fixes" that sound.

Honestly, if you drive the w900 in game long enough, you get used to it. When I first went back in after the updaate, That turbo whine was a bit irritating but now, I don't even notice it.

You think that is bad, try driving these trucks in real life. You'll be half deaf by the end of the day.

^^^ what did u say i cant hear ya been driving K W's for 17 years!!!! To me it sounds like alternator noise from a bad ground in the radio!
im good with it but it is not quite the way it sounds in real life way better than the old sounds

I never knew how that truck sounds in real life, but i thought the first version sound was too fake. Then i thought the new sound is not very right, the sound is like the truck has some serious damage, can't be the real sound, i have never noticed any vehicle with that sort of sound.
