How to do trailer coupling ?
Xcuse me I just tried yesterday the adv trailer coupling....I am using a G29 to play.
Now....how to do it ? Which keys should I set ? Or are there no keys/buttons to use ? There must be some keys as for a couple of trailers I tried everything but it never worked. And alignment was perfect many times.
Pls help.
tnx !

With the advanced coupling, all you have to do is reverse the truck to the trailer precisely so that the kingpin goes into the fifth wheel, it will automatically lock into place just like it does in real life. Then you press T (or whatever key you have mapped for the default trailer attach command) and it will raise the legs. Then you are ready to go. Once you get to your destination and park the trailer, press T and it will detach the trailer completely.

But what happens if the truck won't go under the trailer?

Im guessing you are using modded trucks and trailers? You will have to update the mods or wait for the mod authors to update them to use the new feature unfortunately.

OOOOOOHHHHKKKKKKKK I see now, it must be the few trailer mods I have then. I was trying 10 times perfectly matching truck&trailer but never worked....so it's the mod.
Ok thanks ! Will remove mods next time.
Grazie !

if the truck won't going under the trailer then the truck mod your using does not have support for that.

Were not ETS2 and ATS both updated at the same time to get this new feature? If so, then what files were changed to accommodate this? I updated the def files. Should I go through and copy everything else as well to fix this? Is it something in the models or other resources used with the trucks?

I copied the def files from ETS2, hoping it would be a quick fix, but I guess either ETS2 does not have this feature, or the feature is not something defined in the def files.

They both have the feature. Its not as simple as copying files over to the other to fix your mods. You have to modify the models themselves and add the collision boxes or whatever it is to the model. The stock SCS trucks and trailers work fine with the feature.
