Does ATS currently support the CV1 Oculus Rift?
Have had my CV1 sitting and waiting for Arizona to be released before using it with ATS, but have noticed a couple of unanswered Threads with regards to whether or not CV1 is supported as of yet.

Anybody got the lowdown?

Answer (Thanks to SuperTuck): Yes, ATS is compatible with the CV1 Oculus Rift. Opt into the 1.3 Beta of ATS and add -oculus to the Launch Settings, and you're good to roll.

I have the same question. I've put -oculus in the launch parameters.

Launching ATS with Steam VR mode running just opens the game in Steam's "theater mode" (virtual screen, but still "flat").

Launching ATS with Steam VR off will launch the game and it appears to be generating a VR compatible image, but the Oculus simply ignores it. Despite having set the device to accept "unknown" app access, the Oculus view just stays on the VR Home page.

And you're doing the Oculus Experimental beta?

The application that runs my Oculus is labeled "Beta"...if there's a different tier to that, I don't know. I'm not a developer. Sorry!

Also, as a caveat, I may be mistaken in saying I have a "CV1" Oculus. I have the version of the Oculus consumers could pre-order earlier in 2016. Mine arrived in June.

If we're actually having different problems, I'll just start a fresh thread.

Nah, CV1 is Consumer Version 1 - we're on the same page :)

Yes, it works. Make sure you are on the ATS steam beta branch Oculus 1.3 version for the game. Launch Oculus Home. Then launch ATS but don't use SteamVR. Oculus Home will launch it.

It does work. I have tried it.

As others have said, you have to opt in to the oculus beta, then user the -oculus in the startup options. You may also have to allow the Rift settings and Allow Unknown Sources.

And I never have used Steam VR for launching anything.

Great - thank you both!

Am downloading the Beta stuff now and will report back later on :)

These instructions were successful. Thank you so much for your help!

Can confirm this works. Have altered the Original Post with SuperTuck's solution. Thanks a lot, bud!

I'm guessing the Arizona DLC is not yet compatible with the latest Experimental Oculus Build? It's not in the game for me.

Yeah, the Oculus branch is still on version 1.2. We are waiting for it to be updated to 1.3.
It's sad the ATS Multiplayer doesn't work with Oculus Experimental beta :steamsad:

I wish I could get mine to work as well....

3 things needed to get CV1 Rift working with ATS:

1. Enable unknown sources within the Rift app settings.
2. Add -oculus to the launch options for ATS in Steam.
3. Opt in to the Experimental Oculus support Beta within Steam.

I had to restart my machine, and then it all worked fine.

Done all this and it still starts on desktop without even bothering Oculus home.
