Is this worth $20?

I see that many people like this, and that it seems like a REALLY good game, and I want it a lot myself, but is this really worth $20? or should i wait for a sale?

Edit: I took your guys' advice and bought the game. It's really fun actually and its a realistic driving simulator, and the graphics are nice. Just wish there was less traffic to crash into. :)

In my opinion, it is absolutely the best $20 game I have ever purchased. Sometimes it's hard to believe it cost so little.

Its not like the other simulators. Tis is made by people who kow what they're doing. Another great title is euro truck sim2

well it seems most or all 20 dollar games play exellent and ATS is the same a great game for the price and im buying ets2 today as well

Yeah, for $20, it's worth it to buy. I spend over half that for ONE car in iracing.

Yes it is well worth the money. 500+ hours of game play so far for $20, is not too bad. I think I got my value for money on the first day it was released. Great game for a very cheap price.

There are no guarantees of a sale anytime soon as it is a new game and soon with the addition of Arizona the base game will be complete. If the game was $50 then I can see a saving waiting for a sale but for $20 I don't see much of a saving and that is if they have a sale for it at all.

The best way to say that a game is worth the price is to ask yourself "How many hours you can see yourself playing the game?" Because no one can tell you for sure how you will like it, only how much they like it.

Ratio price-to-gameplay-hours is one of the best for games like this. I clocked over 150 hours already, amazing return on investment. Plenty of modern shooters cost over $50 and you can be done with single-player campaign in under 50 hours

If you have problems with anything you can put your problem in the search discussions box and if you can't find a solution then just ask in the forum and there are plenty of people here to help.

There is also a great guide written by Xpliciic in the guide section. It has a great deal of extremely good information in it.

For the content in it you might be skepitcal if $20 is too much. The stock content in the game though has been enough to make it enjoyable up to this point. The greater fact is that the modding community is huge at this point and if you get bored of the vanilla content you can always add more. And it is clear the developers are not stopping and will keep adding and refining content as they go.

There's a demo, so you can try before you buy. Like FSX, it's a $20 game that has you spending $2000 on extras.

STEAM sale is just a couple of weeks away, your twenty clams will go farther then. Even so, ATS and ETS are great games at full price.

When FSX Deluxe first came out it was $90. and the coding was so crappy you needed a super computer to even run it. Over time it has improved very much. As said above, theres lots of add-ons so as far as this simulator with outstanding graphics and many mods, I cant believe it was only $20. bucks.
