volvo vnl template with def files in :).

has anyone got a volvo vnl templates or an example one with the def files so i can make my own skin please ?

i downloaded that but it didnt have any def and so files in order for me to make my skin. :)

Look on Steam Workshop. There's bound to be skins for VNL by now.
Subscribe to one, copy it to a folder somewhere, unpack it and look through the files to see what does what and what things you need.
There are also a ton of skinning videos on the YouTube. Lucasi_ is one who makes decent skinning tutorials.

theres a link at the top right i want to use that one but dont have the def files how do i get them to make my skin. thats all i need for the volvo vnl300 one which is the one i want to skin ? :)

but as i said i dont know if you skin them the same as ets2 as in do the same things :) if you get what i mean because with the ets2 ones they came with def files :).

You're not ready to do skinning, you need to read and watch videos to understand what's going on grasshopper.

well ive done a skin on ets2 and it works fine so i dont know why its not working on ats. :)

it should work the same, except there are no volvo vnl's in ets2, they are mods and may have a different name, my guess is for ats it's "volvo.vnl" but i could be way off there, i've never skinned that truck..... , there's no game title in any of the .sii files, if your skin is showing red with black text it means it's missing, if it's there look for any errors in your .sii files and .tobj files

thank you for the links to the truck but i did it after looking though youtube vids which your very much right google and youtube are your friends lol but thanks anyways for the links ill save them just incase i forget again.
