"Buy Online" No Longer Available

Edit: I'm still not sure why I was able to use the Buy Online tool before, and now I can't, but I'm over that now. But people kept talking about a "Truck Browser" and I could not find it for the life of me, and everyone's descriptions were too vague or didn't match what I saw in my game.

It took some time, but ttower was finally able to point me in the right direction! If anyone else is wondering, from the main game menu (where you can see your truck) click "Content Browser" at the bottom. You'll then have the option to view a Truck Browser, Trailer Browser, Trailer Listing, and Company Browser.

I am very confused right now. Loading my game today, I wanted to see what trucks were available from different dealerships (not actually buying right now), and tried to click the "Buy Online" option. However, I get the message that "This feature is for trusted customers only. You need to own at least 3 trucks before you can buy online."

I have ALWAYS used the Buy Online option just to LOOK at what trucks are available. Sort of like window shopping. I have NEVER seen this message before. However, when I did a check online, I found out this has always been a thing?! Or at least it's been a thing for several years, at least!

Am I missing something? Is there some way to "window shop" for trucks, and see what is available, before going to visit their location?

As I'm writing this I realized I just recently hit level 20 for the first time, as well. Maybe that made the difference? I've restarted my profile a couple times (long story) so I hadn't hit level 20 until now. Perhaps they allow new players to purchase trucks online, to at least get their first truck, until you reach level 20?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

The way to "window shop" is to use the truck browser in the menu.

If you have not bought 3 trucks in your current profile you will get that message. It does not matter what level you are.

What "truck browser"? The only option I see is "Truck Dealers" and that's where I'm being blocked from using the Buy Online option.

Then why have I been able to use the Buy Online option before, and now I suddenly can't? It makes absolutely zero sense. I have always been able to use it before now. The only other thing that has changed is the release of the new DLC and subsequent update.

It's always been that way. I don't know why you were able to do it. Maybe a bug, maybe a mod you use. But I've never been able to view truck dealerships online unless I owned three trucks.

Do you use any mods? An update like Texas would break many mods, so it's possible that this broke whatever mod allowed you to use the Buy Online option.

I do use mods, but only one broke. Further, I didn't have a mod that would affect the buy online function. In fact, after I found this "issue" I went to the workshop and actually LOOKED for a mod that would let me at least "window shop" to see what trucks they had. I didn't find any mods that would enable the Buy Online button, or let me window shop.

On the bottom of the menu in game, there will be an option that lets you look at trucks/trailers without buying them. In there is the Truck Browser that Wolfgang was talking about. It is basically what you are looking for.

For all the people trying to tell me where to find this elusive "Truck Browser"... This is what I see in my game. I can't find a "Truck Browser" ANYWHERE. If there is some hidden way of finding it, please let me know, because I am coming up with a complete blank.

Should be noted that I did find a way to browse through TRAILERS easily enough. Simply clicking on "Trailer Purchase" brings up a browsable list. But there's no equivalent for trucks, that I can see.

I appreciate that, but honestly don't really need anyone pointing it out. A simple online search told me that much. You get the truck browser when you are in the game past that screen. When you see the truck in the garage, on the bottom right I believe it is or bottom there is truck browser, and even an equipment browser or some such that let you see trailer variants.

It is in the tab listed "Content Browser" on the bottom of the screen when you are in the menu after you load your game.

That is not the Trailer Browser, that is the Trailer Purchase, which is the only place you can buy trailers. I do not remember exactly, but if you are in your truck, in game, press Esc. On this menu, along the bottom, one of those options will allow you to go into the Truck and Trailer browser.

I just saw your screenshot includes the page I needed to see. From the "Main Game Menu" view as you called it, click Content Browsers on the bottom bar.
