What means "Rated:" ?!
Hey guys. On the menu is my statistics. Name, Rank, Level, Distance and "rated" or "bewertet" in german. What the heck does it mean? From my first delivery i had 1.7. it did not change until my 20th delivery its 3.3 now, no damage but i was speeding thru. Now my question, how to affect it and does it even matter??!

I have no idea what it actually means but to get to level 10 you need to get all your skills which is level 36. I don't think it affects very much as the skills are what gives you the higher earnings.

You mean rating lvl10? Is it even a level? I though its like a school mark. 1.0 and so on.

It is rated 10.0

You can see the different ratings of drivers you hire, the higher their rating the higher their pay.

Sorry, incorrect wording on the original response.

I would imagine it is to do with how well you drive as a driver & maybe how many safe deliveries you do. ie: good driver = good rating

Perhaps you are correct because to be able to get the skill levels you need some sort of competence. Every accident and penalty makes it harder to get the skills.

Okay Willy, you were right. I just got an upgrade point and after i used it, i got to 4.2 from 3.3.
I was afraid i get a worse rating for tickets but know i know. Thanks for the help guys

Yes I think if you were to damage your delivery (like really bad) & be late on top. Then there would not be many xp points & your rating would not move very far.

I'm curious as to whether the rating can go down if you perform poorly. Though I'm not that curious to test this theory lol.

I think it could be fun if you were to perform poorly & loose skill points/xp. It might make reaching the top of the career tree that bit tricker :)

Not sure about damaging the loads, but damaging your truck will affect your Insurance Rate, causing it to go up. The more accidents you have, the higher your rate goes up. Seems to take a much longer period of no accidents to get it back down than the incidents which drive it up!

The rating is based on your highest and lowest skill levels. If you have a skill with no levels then the highest rating you can have is 5 even if all your other skills are maxed out.

This. I don't believe it has anything to do with your driving. Has to do with your skills and what level they're at.

I havent been able to find an answer from SCS but in the ETS2 forums I found this info:

You can find out how the driver ratings are calculated in the "feat_data.sii" located in the "def" folder.

In short, this is the categories:

1. Game time spent
The longer you play, the higher reputatin points

2. Cities discovered
The second town you visit gives you 10 points and this goes on up to city no 25 which gives you 100 points

3. Screenshots
It doesn't give you that much points, but it's quite cool anyway

4. Undamaged cargo deliveries in a row
Keep the trailers free of damage!

5. Cargo types
Don't specialize in just one cargo type! Points increases until you reach 30 differnt types

6. No offence distance in a row
Be aware of traffic rules! The longer distance you drive without any fines the higher points you get. This is very rewarding

I assume ATS does something simular but I couldnt find the "feat_data.sii" file.

@UnableRogue, you are correct & the file you seek is in the def.scs of ATS.

There are 6 main categories,
Playtime in game time
City visitor
Screenshots
Undamaged cargo deliveries in a row
Cargo type deliveries in total
No offence distance in a row

There are 4 named levels to each category. Bronze, Silver, Gold & Platinum (though some categories have more with names like d.6) . Each level gives you reputation & a certain limit (or number) is needed is to unlock that achievement.

For example,
feat_data : feat.data.undamaged.delivery.gold
{
limit: 10
attribute_name: "undamaged_cargo_row"

The above example is the "Undamaged cargo deliveries in a row" category. There is a "limit" on how many the player must do to unlock gold & earn 300 reputation points. So, do 10 undamaged runs in a row, & get gold +300 rep.

Here is the feat data[pastebin.com] on pastebin
