Also, the world is scaled and the current map scale is about 1:35, so there is only so much that can be put into the cities before it makes any real sense. With a 1:19 scale coming, there is a possibility that more could be added to the city, but also a chance maybe nothing will be added.
Also, not everyone rides on a harley. Yes, some do look nice and all, but its not any more American than someone driving down the road in a muscle car. (and I freakin' swear I hate almost every muscle car driver on the road)

But, hey ho. The game is about driving partly authentic roads -even they are way,way wrong.
SCS isn't going to touch the cities for the most part. Just a few tweaks here and there, but nothing major.
If I had a product I wanted to sell I would be begging to get it seen in a video game.
Example: Here SCS...Take my money. Make sure you plaster the highways with billboards advertising Brand X.
Now days...you can't even whistle the theme to The Andy Griffith show without worrying about copyright infringement.
On the other hand, there are small things like the WIg Wam Motel which are reproduced faithfully in all their Murican glory.
As to Vegas it burns my chaps that there are all these great hotels, but the poor trucker has to schlep to the outskirts just to find someplace to sleep.
