Tesla Semi
hello everyone.

Since the Tesla Semi is close to release (december 2022), would you like to have it ingame?
i'm so hyped about it and would love to drive one, also willing to pay a fair amount of DLC fee.
only problem i can spot so far, is to add chargers, charging time mechanics and get tesla interested in a cooperation of course.
charging time could be implemented like the time laps screen you get if you load an owned trailer.

Pavel recently talked about electric semi's during the ETS2 Anniversary Stream.

These types of trucks are not coming for a long long time.

aww that's too bad

Musk has been lying about production for so long that only actual delivery is worth noting, so I'll believe December when more than one or two are actually in service and not just prototypes. As electrics will be short run machines they don't fit well into the OTR nature of the game anyway.

That would be an interesting addition to the fleet i'd like that

500 miles is not to bad, i think. the charging time could be shortened to a more viable amount for gaming.

LOL touchy about that, huh? Maybe just don't buy/drive one and let it go?

yep he said, these type of fully electric are just far from being useful for long haul, good for urban and maybe regional haul, coz battery capacity and charge times

This is a simulator. I want to experience whatever an electric semi would feel like, and what better way to do that than some kind of truck simulator game? :p

If it's DLC, I'll likely buy it.

SCS Has said that trucks are the core part of the game, and will never be paid DLC. All trucks will be added for free.

Yes, they are. That fake name company of Voltison Motors is building and selling the S-Type in their premises. Some AI drivers even bought one and use it in traffic.
