Trucks from workshop have way too bright headlights. Help.
All the vanilla trucks are ok but the ones from workshop have too much bright light, which blinds my surroundings at night, can't even look at the mirrors.

Please help. Is there any work around or fix for the custom trucks?

You have an outdated truck mod in your mod folder

Are you using any headlight mods?
If not, is the game crashing?

I use the default headlights and that works for me.
Send your game.log to pastebin.com so you can get help.

I see, I will try some most recent ones from the workshop.

He is not telling you to add a truck, but rather that you might have one that you need to remove.

Yeah I know, actually all my trucks from workshop are outdated, I installed the game today and had this issue. And it is because of those outdated trucks. Newer workshop files have no issues.

This is the fix. I am playing after a while, so all my trucks are outdated. I read that devs changed the lighting in some previous updates. I subscribed to some updated trucks and their lights are working fine. Thanks for the help.

Btw guys, is their any work around to use those outdated trucks? Any way to reduce their headlight brightness? They light up the whole town, lol.

I've got the same issue just I'm only currently using skins for my trucks all vanilla trucks are so bright even on low you can't see the lines on the roads at night, and another bug to drop in at times the wipers only wipe off the passenger side of the windshield.

Not sure if anybody can see it but also to add in I uploaded 2 screenshots and some road textures make a difference the road you see I'm on is blinding with both high and low beams. I even went as far as adjusting the brightness of the game and my monitor for any changes and still the same results. Plus tried without mods to see if it helps with no help at all.

I went back in no mods, saved the game, went to a previous autosave, and reloaded some of my mods one at a time to see which could of been the culprit and figured out it was an older economy mod I used for a very long time but it was outdated for a long time and reading some problems people have had before it seems the older mods can cause the issue and even after removing them it seems to leave an impression on your current save but reverting to an older or previous one saved it on my end.

If what you are saying is true then you have another issue, paint jobs don't mess with lighting in the game, unless it's somehow very poorly made, but i doubt that.
