Truck Speed Tops out at 65 mph???

Has anyone else noticed that the truck's speed tops out at 65 MPH no matter if hauling cargo or not?

All external contracts are limited to 65mph, “job market” runs are not. There is also an option in the menus you can set to turn a limiter on yourself, since many trucks run with a limiter anyway.

So I'm only allowed to do 65 MPH but everyone else INCLUDING OTHER TRUCKS can fly past me going faster? cool good deal. Great game. 10/10 reasoning

65mph(World of Trucks) is like a governed truck on the roads today. You do know that is similar to real life?

What is the big deal that some people make about this? It is not that big of an issue that people make it out to be.

You should have been here when the game first started. It was 55mph! Europe is 55mph too.

Then do the WOT contracts in California. The speed limit is 55mph there.

How do you manage to finish a WoT contract late? They are in real time. The only way you are late is by accepting the contract and then quitting the game and coming back the next day. Otherwise you have like 20 hours IRL to finish the contract.

It doesnt pause your job timer when you quit the game!??! Thats even more BS! No wonder i've been failing jobs. Wow they really need to fix this game

The timer for WoT contracts continues to run down even when you quit the game. That is intended so doesn't need to be fixed. If you can not manage to finish a delivery in 20 hours IRL then don't take it.
