2. Pause game
3. Get up chair
4. Grab food
5. Go to restroom
6. (Optional) Go sleep for more immersion
7. Sit down
8. Unpause game

Forgot the name of the game already, but some new upcoming truck sim has this sort of feature, where you exit the cab etc....there is a good reason SCS doesn't bother doing it IMO. It is so gimmicky and after doing it one or two times, becomes a bore.

Getting out of the truck to interact with the truck, trailer and cargo, or going to a company's office for job details would be great, but going into bathroom at the rest stop? No, thank you.

For you, maybe yes. For many others, the opposite. Walking is without doubt in Top 5 requested features for the ETS2/ATS so I would bet it will happen, eventually.

Don't count on it tbh. Just because it's requested (which is still very much far behind more trucks, states and even a better career mode), doesn't mean it will happen ever.

Also Alaskan Truck Sim does this...It's awful and I'm glad SCS doesn't bother with doing it. It's a gimmick people will grow tired of after a few times.

The day they add these feature together with some similar stuff, like having to get out of truck for a police inspection, stopping at the border to sign a lot of papers (and having to put the pen on the exact place on paper), waiting (and not be allowed to skip) for full 4 game hours... then these topics won't appear anymore... but the ones whining about it though...
