Raise/lower front/rear suspension?
Anyone ever use this? Does it affect the physics of the truck or is it just for added realism? I'm guessing having it totally lowered down would help the truck's balance with particularly tall and heavy loads.

It's more to help get under a trailer that is positioned poorly or when you have larger tyres equipped that cause your 5th wheel to be slightly too high for hookup.

It's not meant to make you look like a cool low rider! lol

Low rider trucks serve no real purpose in real life trucking. Beside looking absolutely silly and dumb....

In the game, when you begin to drive, the truck will rise back to regular height again. Lowering the suspension is only for attaching to some trailers.
If lowering the trailer is about attaching to some trailers, what about raising the suspension? What would be the purpose of raising it and would it stay while driving? Off road?

That is quite a disapointment for me tbh. I barely need it to attach trailers. I thought about lowering permanently to improve the stability of the truck in curves but, well, it doesn't stay... An option for that would be nice idk...

And to ensure that every SWIFT and PRIME truck tries to park next to you.

Irl container trailers are often parked by a company to be picked up by a hired driver and quite often the yard truck leaves it up higher than the standard height, then the hired driver needs to raise his suspension.

Go into the config file, there is an entry for suspension reseting. Change it to false, and then whetever you set will stay.

Except the one exception, car haulers, where being a low rider means you can haul taller vehicles and fit under lower bridges. It also makes oil changes and a bit easier(compared to dump trucks lol).

If you have Alaska: North to the Future map MOD there are places that my truck would get hung up, increasing the height of the suspension got me over the hump. I also use taller tires sometimes and I need to lower the suspension to hook up a trailer. It is not something you need to use a lot but it is good to have.
