Rusty old trucks

I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but I've seen a bunch of rusty old trucks sitting on the side of the road. I think it would be awesome if we could obtain those trucks, have them restored, and make them usable.

SCS is not up to changing gameplay basics in their games, regardless of how good the idea could be. So far, we cannot purchase used trucks even in dealership. It's always brand new. Addition of used trucks including classic models was suggested many times. Doesn't look like it's going to happen. Find a mod truck if you want to drive one. There are many decent truck models over there, but you will have to just pretend that you bought and restored it.

For now, this is a feature in Snowrunner: you spot or get directed to an abandoned truck. You can either repair it in the field to make it drivable, or tow it to a garage, then it’s yours.

Thanks for the replies. I've also seen this feature in Forza Horizon, they tell you about barn finds that you can have a mechanic restore and then you can drive it when it's done.

This would be nice to explore find 100/100 rusty hulks.

Yeah if we get any more old trucks they're most likely going to be recently out-of-production glider kits. Sadly despite how immersive driving an absolute rust bucket of a Kenworth T600 or Freightliner XL would be, that isn't going to happen with how this game portrays the trucks that get liscened.

Still hoping SCS got a license for the Freightliner Coronado though...

There are paint mods for some mod trucks that make them rusty really bad. Search mods and you will find.
