Is there anyway to lock swiveling trailers
When you have a very long, multi section tralier where the different sections can bend/rotate freely, is there any way to lock them so that you can back out of places easier and make the truck move as one giant piece? Idk if I'm explaining this correctly or not, but sometimes I get stuck in tight places because I try to back out of some place and the different sections of the trailer go opposite directions and there's no getting out, I wind up having to quit/abandon the job which sucks

Not that I know. Unless you changed game configuration files somehow, any multi-section cargo (no matter if multi-trailer or articulated platform) is set to be unloaded on the "easy" spot automatically.

To be honest, in real life, truckers can even park double trailers reversing, but anything higher than this number is "divided" before unloading. The best you can do in this case is going to in-game configurations, and on the option about what to do when you arrive the delivery area, set it to "always ask".

In real life no one backs up doubles unless they're b-doubles, just not worth the time & energy. There are some people that will do it at a truck show competition but not during the course of their job.

And don't forget that if you could lock those articulated dollies and stingers, you STILL wouldn't have it behave like a normal trailer, because these long configurations have multiple axles all along the length. You'd end up pushing some of those wheels sideways and, perhaps, pushing the whole thing over onto its side. ;)

There is no way to lock the pivot points, and at no point should you have to back up one of those trailers under normal game circumstances. They are not backed up IRL either, as they are separated. This cannot be done in game, however.

no you cant and in real life other than tow truck operators with big booms, you cant lock them either. tho i always save the game just before i dock any multiple pivot trailer cause ive had the mis pleasure of not quite making the turn just right and not getting it lined up perfect in the box and not being able to get backed up or turned around to try again i have had to back track to an older save and loose about 10 min. thats my advice quick save then dock it
