Edit: F7 will keep your trailer and just put you a little out of the way. Not sure about Quick Travel, may not be available when you're on a delivery...
What about the load of stuff I'm delivering? Do I get a big "FAIL" if I use Quick Travel? Do I get demerits for F'ing up? I guess at this point I don't have any choice, unless I fire the game back up and discover my truck can move again.
Just let a professional tow truck driver do his job and he'll take you to the next garage (F7)
You'll learn how to drive that 18-Wheeler!
Always check your mirrors like a bobblehead and try to plan your approach -> Things like that won't happen. You'll get that ***-ometer
I just unhitch my trailer in the middle of the road to piss off the AI, then I just pull into a gas station, filling up the gas tank and sleep.
Especially if you use mods but even in vanilla, you'll eventually find a combination of terrain plus driver ineptitude that results in you needing a tow. F7
After that, it's up to you to set how serious you want to role-play being a truck driver in the game.
Key to those pumps are very wide turns, I can turn 180 degrees and still get in those pumps even with the longest trailer in the game.
Haha
I think they did, though. Two of their latest blog entries show that, at least a bit...
