What's up with the Beacons on or for Western Star 49X ?

They only operate @ night but only on one side: Left OR Right, but never @ the same time !
You do have some control as to getting which side to light up, though.

Any ideas on how to get both to light & be bright ?

Are you in public or beta branch? If in public, I'd say a mod is up with them. Just tested at 11 AM with my 49x in the vanilla profile and both beacons flash. Fair to say it is the middle size cab, not enough points for big sleepers yet in that profile.

So if you take it that way Indeed, they are perfectly sync and never will flash both in the same direction. Nevertheless they should work at daytime for the OP then. Just again "never both sides".
Understood it however that he's aware how beacons work and only one will work but this changes for whatever system (which side he's looking at the truck in outer view, which indicator was set last - whatever. It was not specified by OP).

They are also active during day. You just won't see any reflection of it on the road during daytime (because the sun is much, much, MUCH brighter than your beacons).

you can get a physical copy off amazon for 32 bucks, walmart probably still sells them too. it more than likely acts the same way as the CIV V physical copy did, ya use the disc to install and activate the product code on steam than never need it again

That is definitely not a legitimate way to purchase the game. The Manufacturer is not even listed as SCS, the company who makes and publishes this game. It is likely not the reason for your issue, but avoid buying sketchy game keys online from a third party as a general rule.

Excalibur Publishing was one of SCS's official publishing partners, I can understand you not knowing who they are since they are actually the UK publisher. But a little research (a 3 second google search) would have told you that. They stopped using them around Italy DLC IIRC because they decided to stick with Steam only.

Should I need to undertake a Factory Reset on my laptop's, I always like a cd hard copy so I can re-install it & I ALWAYS buy my PC games in CD form to install on my Windows computers all the time.
