A diesel engine that blows black smoke, or "Rolls Coal" is a diesel engine that is getting too much fuel, and not enough air ... Contrary to "popular belief" (thanks to youtube) a diesel engine should NOT smoke excessively if it is running properly. Your pickup truck that looks like an RC toy, or a skateboard, is not the same as a big rig that literally has to run for days on end, to MAKE MONEY ... wasting fuel to "Roll Coal" is losing money out the exhaust stack.
And no engine ever is supposed to give off smoke. That is just a sign that you aren't burning the fuel completely which is lowering the already horrible efficiency of 45% (aka not even half the fuel you are burning is being used for what you want it to be used).
Yep 2030 everything made will 100% be electric, it will be illegal to drive gas cars soon
it should be though because of climate change, its gas cars that are doing the most damage to it
