The rest areas not triggering have not been an issue for years. This happened during a recent update.
In the meantime go to Options >> Gameplay and uncheck fatigue simulation until the issue is fixed. Yes it breaks immersion but not much you can do about it right now.
You must be the most condescendent player ive ever seen.
Resting issues are an issue since at least 1.33 (i dont know in 1.32 since i came back when 1.33 was released). So yeah, at least two large years. Its a incredibly annoying problem. Sometimes you wait to the last minute to find a resting spot to discover you can't rest at all because of this.
Large trailers are even more problematic.
This is just another problem added to the list of issues that keep being ignored for reasons we will never understand.
Not ignored, they are acknowledged along with other bugs that are reported in a manner requested by SCS, not in rants that provide none of the information needed.
Just to add a touch of reality, 1.32 was released September 2018, 1.33 was released in December 2018. Nowhere near "two large years".
Condescendent? No. Some people just try to help with facts and evidence.
If that bothers you, that's your problem.
Still broken. Exact rest stop that was in the OP. Never fixed. Just to add a touch of reality, this is 2020 and rest areas STILL don't trigger properly.
this is what i do and it works for me.
