How many road miles are there? And how does it compare to ETS2?
Recently bough ATS, mainly because the setting seems more appealing to me. I spend time on european roads in rl already, america is a nice change of scenery.

With ETS2 being the older title however and a longer time of support and expansions behind it i was wondering how much bigger it is?

Both games are on the 1.20 scale but ATS has far less cities and roads although there is more variety. I also think the overall map is of a far better quality. Going from North West Washingon to South New Mexico (corner to corner) in the current map is about a 2 hour drive in real time I'd say.

its not even close to ETS2 yet, only the west side and some of the south side states are done so far

ETS2 still has way more roads

Road miles, I'd say it has about 1/5 of what ETS2 has. It's slowly catching up.

As for the quality, the base map in ATS is of higher quality than ETS2, but ETS2 has had some areas revamped recently to bring it up to par, but most of the recent ETS2 map DLC is the same as or higher quality as ATS maps.
