Heres how it works:
You pull out onto the freeway where the speed limit is 55. Bring your truck up to 55 mph and press the "C" key. You are now on cruise control and it will maintain 55 mph without any throttle input from you.
You get behind a slow vehicle and wish to pass. Increase the throttle, make the pass and then release the throttle. The truck will return to 55 mph.
You get behind a slow vehicle but are unable to pass. You will have to brake. Braking turns off the Cruise control but does not change the set speed of 55 mph. When your ready to resume 55 mph you must push the Resume key.(set up under obtions)
You enter Nevada, cruise control on 55 mph. You wish to set it at 65. Push the "C" key to turn off the Cruise control. Bring your truck up to 65 and press the "C" key again. Your set for 65 mph.
It's best to go into obtions and set up Cruise control to the way you want it.
Hope this helps.
Or just set your cruise-control steps to 5mph, and then just knock it up 2 notches. No need to deactivate and reactivate cruise (just like in real life, if the speed changes you just knock the lever a few times or hold it up for a couple of seconds depending on the system, no need to touch the pedals)
Otherwise, as people said, I'd say your keybinds are the issue. Blinkers not turning on shouldnt be blocked by anything.
