And then you're on the highway again...Simple...
There should be more and longer detours from the highways...
The feature just doesn't work all that well on this scale and with such a limited amount of routes. The one above is very poorly thought out too and the roadblock itself just looks laughble.
Detours and lane closures
In real life, radio stations would also warn you when certain highways are completely closed off (And telling you alternative routes) or where traffic jams are due to accidents or more cars than the roads can't handle, so you can at least choose another route in advance. ;)
So when a road block appears out of nowhere without any warning, then yes, I'll complain.
Depends what part of the world your in. Also radio stations rely on other drivers to phone in and report an accident or closure etc. Unless it's due to weather, then the highways drop a nationwide alert. Otherwise if your the first amongst many at the scene when it happens a radio station ain't going to be much help. But a satnav detour option will. People are creatures of habit, they follow the same roads and routes. If something happens and your forced an alternative route, there's a huge chance you and many, many others won't know it. Not everyone is driving A-B. You certainly don't press 'M' on your steering wheel...
