My driver's salaries are WAY too high

I just checked my most profitable garage and the driver pay for 7 days was over $750,000! That's $150,000 per driver, FOR ONE WEEK!

My roommate is a OTR truck driver in real life and he makes pretty decent money, but there's no way he's making millions of dollars a year!

I don't have any economy mods or anything that should be affecting pay. What's going on?

Ask him if his company makes $50,000 - $100,000 for each delivery they make......

150,000 per driver for 1 week? Wow, under achievers. There's an achievement(I think just ETS2) for earning over 100k for a single job. Who's to say your drivers aren't doing the same as you are? Turning income_factor down or using an economy mod is the only 2 ways to reduce driver income.

What the op is seeing is normal salary range for vanilla game. They may get $800 per day and $30 per mile or something like that. They should probably be paid even more with the ridiculous amount of money made on the deliveries.

I don't stick with profiles for long enough for my drivers to get into the $20K a day range I guess. It just seems high, but I don't speak from experience.

That's would be odd, since we buy truck for trucker in this game, but if they had their own truck, that's might be understandable. But still who paid all those deliverie cover, common people want free shipping, lol.

I think this is a misunderstanding.
When you check garage profitability... you see what drivers earn for your company.
Now who owns company? Lucky you :)

This is not what you pay them for driving.
This is what customer pays YOU for the transport they drive.
The salary that you pay to them, is not shown on garage screen i think. It's indirectly shown in driver list as wage per mile.

So rejoice. Your guys make you lotsa moneys.

I wish the driver salaries were more Dynamic. You manually adjust their salary (ofc with a federal minimum wage sonyou cant pay 0) and if your paying too low they’ll email you. It’s smart but thwy haven’t implemented it yet which makes me really disappointed.
