How to use a bus Mod?

Hi guys,

I've installed the Passenger Bus Mod and it is enabled in game. All is fine but how do you play with that mod?

Where do you select the option to play as a bus driver?
Do I have to create a new profile? Do I have to restart all over?

How do you start a bus driver career instead of a truck career?

I would assume that you buy it at a dealer, then drive it. Unless it's just a traffic mod.

This mod is to provide passenger jobs when also using a bus mod. You need a bus in order to use this.

I do understand that I need a bus... then where I get one? I can see mission offers with passengers but there is no bus with it.

Buses are not included with the game, so you need to get a bus mod that adds driveable buses to the game.

I tried out the bus mod that I downloaded at https://atsmod.net/american-truck-simulator-mods/ats-bus/g7-1200-facelift-v2-3-passengers-mod-1-36-x/ and while it's a good mod, there are two problems: The engine seems to be weak when accelerating and buses should pick up and drop off passengers at bus stations, not places where trucks pick up and drop off freight.

That's just a limitation of the simulator. ETS2 is planned to have buses at some point, hence all the bus stops that exist in the game. However, there are not systems that make use of them and as such they're just empty placeholder. There have been mods that add bus stations for buses to use, but they're not a common addition.
