Mouse Look Smoothness

I tried a number of searches around this topic, and only found a few mentions in the ETS2 forum, with no replies.

As long as I've played I've noticed that using the free look mouse camera is not very smooth. It feels like it moves at 30fps, even if the game is running at 120fps. The game is buttery smooth when just looking in a static direction while moving.

Are there any advanced options in the config or control files that can help adjust this? Or perhaps even a mod? I have a high end gaming mouse with a high polling rate and precision, and other games have extremely smooth mousing.

Im not sure. Ive also been looking for a mod that can smooth the camera out(especially the cabin camera).

2 things to try. Go to the games EXE file and right click it, go to properties, Compatability tab. then "Change Settings For All users" at the bottom. Check "Disable Fullscreen Optimisation" then click "Change High DPI Settings" Check "Override high DPI Scaling behaviour, Scaling performed by: and select Application from the dropdown list. It doesnt hurt to try to run the game as admin as well. I do this on all my games so the games will control the mouse scaling instead of windows. Hope this helps. Leme know!
