OLD STYLE TRUCKS
Had a bit of a problem with the latest update and MODs. {lights, accessories, added lights} so disabled all as per most comments on the subject. Now re adding them individually. What i did find, one in ETS2 {scania T] and the added international in ATS but also the long nosed Western Star MOD, {working well}. I am a Days Gone relic from the 80s/90s/20s era and much prefer the old dashes with analog gauges. In game driving no matter the truck is basically the same so aesthetics becomes the thing. Long nose in front analog gauges to look at, yes in my glory. Was never a fan of kerb sniffer/ant eater trucks nor digital gauges as, if interiors are correct, digital requires clicking between screens whereas , with analog one can turn gauges till at running op all needles are pointing north. Quick glance and an out of place needle tells all. Now got a garage with all long nosed conventionals. Understand the licensing thing but would love more Days Gone relics as i play the game strictly for the driving which i miss. Load is only a direction.

Maybe the International® Eagle 9900i is something for you. It is rather oldschool. It even comes free with the game, no mod needed.

Yes have that one, thanks. Just not a huge fan of MODs and would like to see them in the game, although do understand licensing thing.

Although the 9900 was a pleasant surprise, odds are still low for any old school trucks from SCS any time soon. Look in the workshop for Harven's Mack R and Smarty's Scot A2HD. The SCS forums have a few nice ones under the /mods/models/trucks topic including a 9300I from Overfloater Aside from that, you are left with paid mods although there are paid modders who offer free mods that are pretty nice, including Dom's free 379, an accessory lightened version of his $100 paid 379.

The W900 and 389 are still in production today, hence why SCS was able to easily get licensing for them. Though I'd love to see them get a fresh coat of paint because the 9900i is severely outclassing them in terms of quality of production.

May be wrong but that may be due to producing a game rather than just a truck. I would like to see more ability to customize within the game but see the difficulty.

It's just that those trucks were done a long time ago, and it shows. The 9900i is brand new, ATS-speaking, and you can see that the quality is much better, obviously.
