Yeah nothing is working it seems. No matter what i do it still feels like a pile of slop at highspeeds. Used your setting from the other thread and im fighting for my life to turn the wheel at a stop and as ive said before highspeed feels like im driving on air. And whether the centering spring is on or off nothing changes or at least cant feel a change. Might just have to face reality that this game is unplayable now with a logitech wheel. sucks because i use to look forward to playing this game but now cant find a good reason too play it. Idk what they did to the force feedback in this game but whatever it was it might be the worst update to wheel setting in the history of driving games. Heard others saying they intentionally ruined logitech because they have a sponsor with another wheel company. Starting to believe that more and more.
Ive turned it off and ive turned it on. ive played with the values of it and nothing changes.
Ive reset the feedback setting in gaem multiple times and nothing. With the Top 3 setting under 50% value i have to use two hands to even get the wheel to move at a stop and low speeds and at highspeeds its like driving in a bowl of mash potatoes with almost zero feel coming through the wheel.
So basically im at a cross road where i have it unplayable at low speeds and feeling nice at highspeeds or feeling nice at low speeds and no feel at highspeeds.
And dont take me saying i have to use two hands to even get the wheel to most at low speeds as an exaggeration because it isnt.
Yes ive clicked the reset to default button in game
Explain how to make a new controller setup. I thought i did attempt it but maybe i didnt do it right
Nothing against the OP but this is why I will never recommend Logitech wheels. They are a total pain in the game.
resetting everything didnt work either. Just dont get what it could be now.
No offense. Ive never had any issue with logitech before. They have always been plug and play in my experience which is why im so confused right now.
yeah i have it
Not go to Documents/American Truck Simulator/profiles. Be sure you are editing the one with the last modified date.
Open the controls.sii file with a program called Notepad++. It is free to download.

Save the settings. Don't worry of these don't feel right you can always revert again by clicking Reset to Defaults.
Those were settings posted for a G920. Author mentioned they found a balance between realism and something that felt good to drive. Here is the thread: https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?f=178&t=304328&p=1627879&hilit=g920#p1627879
That is how it should behave in the first place if connected to the PC/reboot of it while connected.
I had this problem mate. I turned off the force feedback in the game. Loaded the GHub app. got the app to search ATS and ETS. Now you can set parameters for both sims. In ATS I have steering range at 900. sensitivity at about 40 and the force feedback box unchecked. It's not the best in the world, but very realistic. Hope this helps mate.
