What game should I buy?
Hello everyone,

I was wondering what game i should buy, i have $200 in my steam wallet and the games I currently have are Bloons TD6, Farming Simulator 19, Euro Truck Simulator 2 (and all dlc's), American truck simulator (and all dlc's), Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 (Not working), F1 2017 and Hashiriya Drifter.

I am open to suggestions from other genres other than car games as clearly stated above. I am also open to mods for any games if said mods are available for that game. My platform is Mac if that helps.

I posted this here because I don't know where to post general steam discussions.

Thank you all
James

I honestly wait till sales and get stuff 60-75% off. Picked up Railway Empire awhile back that way in a bundle and then got Japan DLC, so have all DLC's now. It is completely different than any titles you list. You are tasked with completed railway networks with timed goals (by year) in scenarios. You can ride on all the trains, but really you have to build constantly to keep up. To joy ride, I save, then joy ride, then reload the same save again to build so I don't fall behind that way.

Honestly I can only play 30 minutes at a time, because I only like building for that long, then I rotate to ATS again. I got 77 hours in RE and only completed Chapters 1-4 ( they are really the tutorial) and I have done the Great Britain scenario 1 and 1/2 times. It also has Free mode with random goals and Sandbox mode with unlimited funds and no goals.

You may enjoy Beam.NG Drive. Take a look, as it is a vehicle based sandbox that uses a great physics engine. I have had quite some fun with that game, and it goes far beyond crashing cars, as it may appear from the start. I am unsure if it supports Mac, but it should say on the Steam Store Page for the page.

You can browse macOS supported titles:

I have played some of the Deus Ex and Hitman titles on macOS. Deux Ex I think is only Windows supported on Steam - I bought them on the Mac App Store.

SnowRunner is a fun truck/off road game.

Like the first poster said, hold off for the next sale and really slam the steam shop 8)

MudRunner and SnowRunner are unfortunately both Windows only. SnowRunner is great and I am enjoying it immensely, but you cannot play on macOS.

I spent $100 during winter sale on train sim world 2 and I have enjoyed learning how to drive trains. Problem with train games is that the DLCs are so expensive you must wait for sale. So my recommendation might be worthless right now.

Forza can be fun if you enjoy racing. Also BeamNG Drive is a pretty good choice.

If you want non-racing games. of course you need to buy Minecraft.

You might be helped by this steam forum for Mac: https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/2/

I see you have CMS 2018. If you like gear-head activities you might try my summer car.
It'll show you the basics of an old four banger reasonably good detail.

Unfortunately MSC is also Windows only and the OP is using macOS.

I have thought about getting a train simulator ... but I have heard to many negative comments about some of the train simulators. The one you have ... is it worth the money?
