Bizarre screen glitching
So I just got some of the DLC maps (Utah and Wyoming to name two of them) and I've found that while I am driving through those new states, I hit weird patches of the highway where the screen and environment glitches and for a few miles at a time I'm basically driving blind.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this fixable?
Never experienced this with the vanilla game.

Map DLC are still the vanilla game, because they are officially supported and created by the developers. First thing to try is right click American Truck Simulator in your Steam Library, and go to properties, local files, and Verify Integrity of Game Files. If that does not find an issue, then update your GPU drivers, and let us know if either worked. We may need your game.log if those dont work.

To add to this, let us know your pc specs also. It's something on your end. We just need to figure out what...

I would definitely start with what ttower said by verifying your local file integrity.

Right click ATS in your Library >> Properties >> Local Files >> Verify Integrity.

Verifying the files seems to have fixed it.
That's weird ... I had verified my files like ... 3 weeks ago.
Well, now I know what to try in the future.
Thanks guys. Hopefully this is the last message on the thread.

I would get in the habit of verifying local file integrity. Just a reminder that this does not check mods.

With how bad Steam has been lately with downloading updates it will solve issues. When downloading an update you will see verifying integrity but that appears to be for the update and not the whole game.
