can't get the coast to coast mod to work
So I just bought the WA dlc and I'm trying to install the coast to coast mod. Which version do I need to get it to work and in what how do I place it in the mod stack for it work and not crash?

Read the SCS forum page. There are different variations.

If all you have is Washington no version of Coast to Coast will work for you.

I have all DLC maps. and still can't get the map to work. It crashes and closes the game as soon I click on continue.

Which version of Coast to Coast did you download? Do you have any other map mods?

what is all required for the coast to coast map to work. I'm sure there's more then just that file itself that is needed..

C2C v2.8.3 is the latest version.

The C2C .scs Map mod is all you need plus All the states SCS has released. I have C2C and it's loading and working perfectly without any crashes. The map Mod should be placed right at the Top.

Silly question. When you downloaded C2C did you unpack it. It is packed 2 time and has to be brought out of the first one...

So I got it working.. drove all the way to Chicago just to see what it looks like.I live in Chicago and it's very disappointing to see that the expressway doesn't look the same. The expressway don't have trees surrounding the roads.. Even all the way through Wisconsin. This is more of a flat plane with many many farms all around. Upper Michigan has tree but when your driving through Michigan. You see nothing that resembles to the UP.. Like don't see Escanaba or Marquette. Even Lake superior. I even wish there was that Mackina Bridge there too.. Hope when the main crater of this game get this Utah out so we can see what state be next after that.. Plus the drive between Chicago to Greenbay took like 10 minutes.. Un realistic.. is 6hrs so it sould at least took 30 to 40 minutes at least.

That area is nowhere near being finished and if you are not also using the Midwest Expansion map, what you are seeing hasn't been worked on in a couple of years. BTW 6hrs real world time takes 18 minutes in the game.

Mantrid made the map to allow players to do long hauls. That is all that was intended and although over the years he has improved the map don't expect a realistic version of states. He has done a wonderful service for the community by doing his map and he has spent a long time improving it for no reward. So either appreciate his effort or wait for SCS to get that far with their development but don't be too critical of his map as it was never meant to be a realistic.
