Why would you upgrade from day cab (mechanically speaking)
Speaking from a pure stat standpoint, why would you ever use anything but a day cab? You can put any engine or ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in it, So it can do heavy cargo loads all day long, and if you DO go to a sleeper cab, you lose a LOT of manuverability.

So did you guys upgrade to the sleeper cabs just cause they look cool? or am i missing something?

The longer chassis have larger fuel tanks.

You are missing 80 gallons if I remember correctly.

More fuel capacity with the sleeper cab due to longer chasis.

Not sure if the game implements this, but you could also get more fuel economy due to better aerodynamics.

pretty sure it just allows more fuel. I don't think I have read anywhere that there is any other benefit besides appearance if you prefer the longer chassis.

It also allows for the "How heavy am I?" achievement:steamhappy:

you get more fuel but less manuverability.

That’s it, man. Way less stopping for fuel.

I used to run a day cab for the easy handling but then I switched to a medium sized one for the low look but the added range of the tanks.

The sleepers are also heavier, requiring more energy to move it (using more fuel).
I keep my day cab, never needed to upgrade. Just me, my tiny truck, tiny garage, and thousands of miles of pavement to hit! Day cabs accelerate faster, turn better, use less fuel, and can fit in smaller spaces, and I tend to get in small spaces...

There is no benefit to buy sleeper cab .

Sure there is, you don't need to rent a room to have fun with the lot lizard that way..

Since it doesn't require you to have a sleeper to sleep I don't see any benefit to it except as others have mentioned fuel capacity. I figured you would have to find a rest area with attached motel if you were running a day cab, but found out it would let me sleep when I had a day cab when I stopped at the rest area in Wickenburg, Arizona.

Where I live it's easier, just hang a hammock under the trailer.
