GPS v Rand McNally
The GPS is great but it fails to show trucking info that is needed. Low bridges, scales, truckstops, rest areas, truck routes and for the hazmat loads tunnels. Is there a Truckers GPS. Searches havent found one.

No, there isn't.

There is only one location, as far as I know, where you will encounter a low bridge and even then it is only for some of the heavy cargo/forestry DLC content and that is in Portland, OR.

Restricting Hazmat through tunnels is not going to happen anytime soon, if at all, because of the road network is severely lacking.

Most everything in the game is already a truck route too. Sure you have Tioga Pass in CA, Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado but those are also extremely scenic areas too as the reason for inclusion. You make money so easily in this game that the max fine of $1500 is nothing.

Rest Stops are already visible on the World Map(M key) and on the GPS.

The in-game scales (weigh stations) are also available in the world Map and the GPS (aka Route Advisor).

All Truck fuel stations are also marked on the in-game map. Not all gas stations seen in the game have those green markers but the all green markers are visible on the map.

Just wondering as in the :good ole days: prep for a load was write route numbers and directions down before proceeding especially with hazmat. With the atlas you also found that city mileage was not included in revenue. Example: LA say to Kingman, mileage started at east LA city limits no matter where in LA was pickup, reach Bakersfield mileage stopped at west Bakersfiels limits and started at east city limits reaching Kingsman mileage stopped at city limits no matter where delivery was. Partyt of the Reality in trucking.

Just a point as i see many posts looking for reality in the game. No game can replicate the freality in actual trucking and many players would vanish if they had reality. Real trucking is a way of life not a job.

With oversize take the northern bridge westbound and the southern bridge eastbound. They purposely built the upper decks with different directions I guess.

Also consider that the game does not accurately reflect the real road network, so any "Trucker's GPS" would have to use the game for information. As AyMazingATS points out, tunnels and low bridges are not an issue in game, so I don't know what "Trucker's GPS" could add...
