Damage stuck on owned trailer
I have already reported this on the SCS forums but getting people to know the bug.

This bug only happens if your owned trailer is heavily damaged over 10%.

Damage trailer to 10%+. Go to repair shop. Decouple trailer and leave it on the ground. Repair your truck only. (If under 10% trailer damage it will repair your trailer without a bug) It will show that your trailer has been repaired but going back to your heavily damaged owned trailer and checking f7 to view the damages it will show you have damage still and that damage is stuck on your trailer.

I thought this issue was caused by owned trailer mods that hadn't been updated? SCS changed the "wear" names/values on vehicles and trailers recently.

Get a no damage mod.

It is not the point. The damage does nothing its just an annoyance. The problem is players seeing a bug they cannot explain. Best to fix it.

old ass post, but that's not what i've seen. my triple lowbody aluminum is stuck at 67% damage, and every single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time i use that trailer i fail inspection due to a damaged vehicle fine. it's only 500 dollars, but my content makes me do a punishment for every payment i make, it sucks

If you have such a large amount of damage to your truck/trailer then maybe you should drive more carefully?...just sayin'.

If it is a mod, there is nothing we, or SCS, can do about it. :steamfacepalm:
If it isn't a mod, sell the trailer and buy another one, then follow the advice above.

it's not a mod, though my game IS modded. i should try to rebuy the trailer, see if that works. just annoying that no matter how much i pour into repairs (even the repair menu says my trailer is at 0% damage) i still fail every inspection with it

I believe they fixed the bug, but any bugged trailers were not fixable. You will have to sell the trailer and replace it as the only way to get rid of the problem. It should not happen again with the new one. If it does, and you are on the latest version, then it is probably a mod issue.

Seems the Bug still exists. Even when buying a new trailer, just tested it. Any Ideas on how to fix this?
Who lets their trailers get that damaged? I honestly make it a habit of sleeping and reparing my truck of w/e minor maintenance it has after every run. Then saving at the repair shop before looking for a new contract.

people who don't want to reload their save every single time they hit a bump in the road

I believe I heard the bug was due to entering the service area and changing something on the trailer prior to fixing it so sell the one you have and buy a new one. I am running 100 Active MODS on a level 65 profile and I have never had this issue. I have always preferred buying my own trailer and matching it to my truck.

if I remember correctly there was a bug recently when reconfigure a damaged truck. If you decreased number of axles, the damage got stuck on the removed axle(s). the axle(s) still existed like internal ghosts or something.

It was trailers. You would have to go back to the shop and add more axles, then repair the truck. Once repaired, you can remove the axles again and it will be damage free.
