I can tell that at least for the freight market it makes a difference

A normal tanker trailer paid 120,000
The long one I changed it to paid 161,000

More cargo space = bigger payout

You could easily do it yourself, just remember the payout then change the trailer and look... you don't need to 'experiment'.

Where did you get an owned tanker?

yeah saw that nisscch.

the insulated is limited to chilled products right? so I like the flatbeds and the dry goods trailer except its short so I make all them articulated doubles they can carry a wide variety of stuff, almost as many flatbeds, and a few insulated and only one reefer going.
like 27 trailers now. Im working on spreading them out across 14 garages I just spent like 5 mil with trailers upgrades and new garage in sacramento with 5 drivers/trucks. first time I made one truck then bought it 5 times at 209,000each, an gave same truck to every driver in a garage.

look at the pay under nav. never seen that much!

The reefer is not limited to refrigerated products. You can haul dry goods also.
Fury6 Oct 16, 2018 @ 5:42pm
Insulated and reefer allow you to carry the highest paying hazmats like nitrocellulose that the others don't.

No.

There's no difference in the lengths of *any* of the trailers. They're *all* available in 28, 45, 48 & 53 foot chassis. Though, I imagine you mean you can't access the longer units due to being low level?

they can carry a wide variety of stuff, almost as many flatbeds, and a few insulated and only one reefer going.

Flatbeds have among the lowest paying cargo, insulated and reefer are able to carry the highest paying cargo.

In the vanilla game, 28k is nothing ;)

Insulated can carry nearly anything except for stuff that needs to be refridgerated.
Captain Stabbin Oct 16, 2018 @ 7:33pm
what i was going going for is, if i have the exact same load, going the same distance, will having a 28 foot pay out less then a 45 foot.

Yes, it will pay a lot less. You can only carry about 60% as much.
