What is this?? Has anyone else seen these giant ducks? They were popping up and down.

Yea i have seen them, if i remember correct you are out where Area51 is near by, so it 's a easter egg SCS software have put into the game. There is also another place where you see a duck swim around in a lake, but i can't remember where it is.

There are also truckstops where people are dancing on the roof of the fuel-station.
1) I like it and it makes the world interesting;
2) It's a sign that the team is too large and some devs are freewheeling.

This game has a bazillion easter eggs like that one.
Go to Oakland and off to the right when you head to the port there's the Hotel California with the Eagles up on the roof.
The Bates Motel is on hwy. 99 leading into Bakersfield.
There's a truck race track at the end of a dead-end road in Tucson.
You can drive around inside of the Phoenix airport.
There's websites that list them all.

In Pioche there used to be a protest happening with cops there and people holding signs. Don't know if that's still there or not since they did some work around there.
There's a few places with guys out mowing their yard.

I've only just spotted these pulling into a rest stop. And was like, what they hell are these, are they a real thing somewhere in Nevada and added to the game or an easter egg lol

Easter Egg, whilst giant ducks as an art-piece do exist they are not in remote Nevada, and even the in-game town they are in (Mazany Creek) does not exist (closest real-life town would be Caliente.

There are actually tonnes of hidden easter eggs in the game, some fairly obvious like this one and others quite subtle or hidden.
