Changing Trucks For All Drivers
This might be a silly question and searching hasn't provided the answer, but is there an easy way of changing all the trucks assigned to my employed drivers?

I currently have all my driver's using a Volvo, but want to change them all to Peterbilt and going through 100+ drivers would be a major headache.

Cheers.

Not able to do that in a bulk fashion if that's what you are referring to.

Haha, have around 120 at the moment and just nearing the end of levelling them all up which was a slog before I start on the next lot.. fun it was not, as I like to micro manage!!!

Am going to switch back to ETS though for a bit I think, as feeling a bit burnt out with America.

I put it in the suggestions topic anyway for what it's worth... you never know right??

Yeah... I play sandbox and therefore I own and control everything. I have the max amount of drivers and garages; the major problems appear after a new version release. Over the years I have grown smarter though (I think). After returning to my regular profile (versus my clean profile for testing betas) with tons of mods, I simply de-activate all my mods, sell all my trucks 'cause only my virtual drivers use them and rather then try and update my own truck, I sell it too. At least my map remains intact plus whatever is new that the latest version had added. My first step is buying MY new truck and parking it. Then I check the map to see what dealership is closest to my garage. I create my own fleet of truck if I haven't already done so, which I make sure includes at least one model from each game truck (no mods). Finally, before starting to play again, I check all my former favourite and subscribed items in the Steam Workshop under My Files and I do a complete cleanup of past and current remnants that may end up screwing with the latest version (i.e. 1:40). I've been playing since 2016 and I've never really experienced a crash, no graphic lags to speak of, or anything of major proportions. Lucky I guess... I also guess it can become annoying after awhile, especially when you get the game working like never before one day and the following day it's flailing here and there. I'm convinced the Devs are doing their very best with the resources they have. Suggestion: watch some of the live Dev demos. You might be surprised.

I had similar dilemmas. Since all my trucks are now my own uniform custom fleet package (which, BTW, can be accessed when ordering new trucks by switching "Stock Offers" to "Fleet Packages"), what I did, was either:

1 - Swap my own truck with the truck I want to get rid of ("Drive It" on the truck in question in Truck Manager, which puts you in the truck to be traded), visit the desired dealer, then trade it for a new one just like the one I just got out of. Rinse, lather, repeat. Or...

2 - If you have the money to do so, buy another garage nearby, upgrading from 3 to 5 slots if possible. Order 3/5 new trucks online, order 3/5 new trailers, each delivered to the new garage. Then, find the trucks you want to get rid of in the truck manager, relocate those drivers to the new garage with the new trucks. Trade the now-vacant, unwanted trucks in on new replacements, or sell them off and buy new replacements outright. Hire new drivers to fill the replacements. Done deal.

It's a little more complex, but I find it much easier than buying and swapping one at a time.

NOTE: If you simply want to copy a paint job across all your trucks, THAT you can do with ease using "Copy Config" in truck manager with the truck to be copied selected. Can also be done with the truck's entire configuration, but this only works on trucks of the same model.

Been there, done that, even bought a shirt to prove it, but I love the game enough to just sit there and keep working at it. There's always something new to learn... Sometimes I spend more time tweaking ( as opposed to twerking - I'm 68 after all😎) but then I'm really happy with the final results. OK, have a g'day eh... it's way past my bedtime... 😴
