The open beta just got released this morning, you have to right click your american truck sim, in your steam library, and click properties & betas. Choose the Open beta 1.41 and wait for the download.

Open your game like you are playing single player, and in the bottom task bar of the game, there is a convoy tab. Self-explanatory from there.

Once you are in the convoy menu, find a server that you would like to join, select it and click "Join convoy"
