With the big exception that the truck isn't produced anymore since 1997 and the company that produced it no longer exists.

Use mods, there won't be any licence for that truck.

SCS have said multiple times that they will only be seeking licencing for trucks that are either currently in production or are soon to be in production. Old trucks will never happen officially so you will have to either search for a mod or create the mod yourself.

Perhaps thieves like him discourage mod creators from "keeping them alive." Why bother, right? Folks are, I guess, free to feel as they'd like about such theft.

Might be but probably not. They are for very short distances while the trucks we drive in the game are for long distance contracts.
