Both have pros and cons so depends on your taste. New Mexico is open desert and has more 4 lane hwy. It connects well with Arizona and Cali. You can make quick runs on the nice hiways that run through those 3 states.
Utah is more woods, so I would say more scenic. Those that love the desert would disagree but trees break up the scenery more. Utah will have more 2 lane winding type roads than NM. These winding roads are fun for heavy cargo runs.
Getting Utah.
Pretty soon in order to even run that mod you will also need to download the Mexico maps with it. It is being combined. Sorry, but not even going to touch that.
I won't ever run this map mod because of what the creators did before it was released. Remember this was only released because someone leaked it. Otherwise it would probably still be for patreon members only.
Posting pics, updates, etc. on the SCS Forums and then bam "you want it pay $8 to get it." which caused the thread to be locked. It was only unlocked because they released the mod after it was leaked. If that is not screwing around with the community then I have no idea what is.
It is just my opinion and one that I know that does ruffle feathers.
This looks very very exciting
I'll have to check it out thanks.
