Turn signals/4 ways too bright?

I noticed this after the 1.40 update. was wondering if anybody else was having this issue as well, I searched for a hour online could not find anything on it. So might just be my pc. doesn't show up in the day but only at night. the reverse light(s) do the same thing. Too bright and shows up as a big distorted diamond behind the truck (lol lights up like half a block). everything else looks great tho. I run a GTX 1050, on a laptop. intel i5. never had issues running this game before.

You mean the headlights aren't showing up on the road in the day time?

Read the many threads here about lights in 1.40, almost all of which are caused by mods, whether active or not. I have no faults using a GTX 1060 6gb with every setting on high, except SAO on low and AA on ultra.

yea now that i think about headlights dont show up in day.

I tried creating a new profile with no mods but still the same issue...didnt see a link to thread just the youtube video...might do a fresh install and see what happens would rather not tho

Which is how it is supposed to be as you don't see your headlights during day IRL.

Press F12 (if you use a Laptop you have to press FN+F12) to make a screenshot. Quit the game and upload the screenshot to Steam. Go to your profile, then to the screenshots and click on the screenshot you uploaded. Click on the link in the top of the Window that opened which opens another window. From there you copy the address which you paste here.

This is definitely not from a vanilla profile. Neither my vanilla profile nor my modded profile, with all the mods updated to 1.40, do this. What you see here is the result of flares not being updated for the new game version.

yep totally right. i did create another profile and was still having the problem but just deleted and did a playthrough on another fresh profile and the problem was gone. guess ill have wait till the mods i have get updated. thanks for the advice!

Only issue is now the lights don't show up if you go into the shadows or a tunnel or something during the day either, which I believe they used to. Not a big issue for me but it's noticeable

I read on reddit, some guy was saying that the update screws up all mods not updated to 1.40. Guess the fix is to disable all mods, then reenable one by one to see which one causes the issue.
