Problem with the g29 red dial double input

I just got a g29 wheel and everything works great except the red dial, I assigned it to retarder strength but whenever I rotate it just once in either direction, it does a double, sometimes triple input. I've seen other posts about this but no solution, does anyone know anything?

no, I also have it, looks like the buttons in the red wheel ate too sensitive. I bind it to the Cruise control. And in game set the CC steps to 1 MPH so 1 mile above or below the limit really doesn't make a difference.

Same here, and this is also true for D-pad.
Only N, S, W, E assignments work stably and only if you assign them in the game settings.
