Agricultural Inspection Station Not Working?

Agricultural Inspection stations seem broken. After driving to the station and hitting ENTER nothing happens. Afterwards, a $3,000 fine is given.

Should I wait longer or is there is a known bug?

The response should be pretty quick when you hit ENTER. Weigh stations, gas pumps, and resting are all working correctly when you use your ENTER key?

Which agricultural inspection station(s) were having this issue? And have you ever used a mod on this profile?

Yesterday playing 1.41, I went through the agricultural inspection station on US 395 in the NE corner of California with non-agricultural freight, and it worked normally; I got to go on my way right after hitting ENTER. And my answer to the mods question is NO.

The weight station at Redding. I am using graphical mods. Agricultural inspection stations do not work with mods?

i don't know that they don't. It's just that *most* of the time when someone reports a bug here that others aren't experiencing, it's due to a mod. So you'll be asked to think about mods when you've got a bug question. It's not something SCS can fix. They're not responsible for unofficial mods.

I just now went through the US 395 agricultural inspection station northwest of Reno, Nevada (yesterday was the other US 395 station, on the southern edge of Oregon), and again, no problem. When I hit ENTER, I see "Inspection in Progress" for about 5 seconds, and then am told to proceed. (So it's not quite as fast as a weigh station, but it's pretty quick.)

Other things you can try:

Verifying your game files. In Steam, click on Library, right click American Truck Simulator, select Properties and in the new box, click on the Local files tab. You should see an option to check the integrity of your files.

Or if it's been a while, update your video card driver.

Or ask the mod developer.

Do you have the Extended Traffic Light Timing mod enabled? This happened to me today when going through one for the first time. I suspected it was a mod, but that was the last mod I suspected to be causing it. I saved just outside of an inspection station, then disabled mods one-by-one until it worked properly. The Extended Traffic Light Timing mod was causing it. After re-enabling all mods except that one, the inspection stations still work.

Interestingly (and slightly unrelated) I removed the extended yellow light mod I had been using in case of issues with the Cali update, but it seems the (unmodded) yellow light time is now longer anyway. Have SCS implemented a fix??

They changed the timing a long time ago.

The mod only would work best if the modder updated to meet what was added in by the dev. If they didn't update the mod to match, there would be some issues pending on what that is.. Just like if you have a truck mod from the old version of the game may not work in the new game version because of the model itself, windows do not work, different sound lay out and so forth.
