How can I join the same job as my friend in Convoy mode??

Pretty much just what the title says. Like I do know where to go in order to join a friend's job when you're in a convoy, but when we try and join each other it just says "unknown job" or something like that. And the little button that says to take the same job stays grayed out and unclickable. So I'm kinda confused on how to join the same job.

I couldn't find how to do it anywhere else so I thought I'd ask here. If someone could let me in on how to join the same job with my friend that'd be great.

Do you have the same skills and the same dlc's (maps and cargo )

We do have the same quest DLC's like the ones for heavier or unique cargo and whatnot. But the skills are the ones that we don't have the same ones of. Do we absolutely have to have the same skills in order to get the same job? And does that mean that we should both just start over so that we can have the same skills and whatnot? You have to have the same long range haul skill. Same for transporting hazardous materials.

Having the same issue though all of our skills and DLC are the same

I believe one can invite to a session through the Steam Overlay, but I've not tried it. In the Convoy Browser, Steam Friends will have an icon next to Sessions that they're in, or y'all can just tell each other what the name of the session is and look it up that way.

We have the same issue, happened again last night. I picked a load but friends could not, it said there was a mismatch. We're all maxed on the skills but not sure if we all have the same DLC (I have all DLC myself) The loads were of the modded type so I wander if that had something to do with it. We were able to pick the load if we chose the Company Truck Option though, I found that odd also.

maybe one of you are signed in world of trucks and doing a job from there would make that happen
