i cant connect trailers

Hi, I haven't played in quite some time, but for some reason. I just cannot seem to hitch trailers to my truck. It doesn't even matter what truck it is by the time i go to hook up the trailer, its like something invisible gets in the way and stop my trailer from being hooked up. I am not running any mods at all, and previously I never had a single issue hooking these trailers up.
I just bought the wyoming dlc and I am trying to do all the deliveries to or from that state....however I won't be able to do a single delivery if the trailers are this broken or the trucks, i don't know.
I am not sure why this happening, as i said previously I never had an issue hooking up external trailers, then this, does anyone know a fix? if not then i have wasted money on a game i will be sadly forced to abandon.

Not having that issue on my end. Do you have advanced coupling enabled? If so disable that in the gameplay settings.

Go into your settings go into gameplay. Scroll down until you advancing coupling. If that has a checkmark in the check box. Uncheck it and see if you can attach to the trailers. If you are still having issues in attaching to trailers...than this could be a mod conflict or mod not working at all. I hope this helps.

thank you, it was advanced coupling. not sure why that box was checked.
