Shifting problems
Hey guys!
I got a problem with shifting, i am using the real automatic shift, so i assigned my keys for "drive" and "reverse" but everytime when im try to start and shift in any direction, the gearbox jumps instantly back in "neutral"... i have no clue what happen there.
In ETS2 i got no problems with it...

Your settings are obviously different in ETS2.
Copy the folowing files from your ETS2 profile and overwrite the same files in ATS and you will have exactly the same setup in both games.

config.cfg
config_local.cfg
controls.sii

If it works the way you like in ETS2, then using those files in ATS should fix the problem.

You have shifting set up in the wrong place. You're assigning keys (instantaneous input) where the game is expecting a shifter (continuous input). So when you release the button the input is gone and it goes back to neutral. What you must do is remove the setting in "controls" and go to "keys and buttons" where you can assign "shift up" and "shift down".

Are you actually copying the files from your "profile" in ETS2?
It has to work, that's how I keep all my settings the same in all profiles in both games.
