Unmarked route from Bellingham to mountain top logging area
I am sure other must have found this before me, but there is a second unmapped route from Bellingham town to the logging area at the top of the mountain track. I found it from the logging area, but from Bellingham head straight on, going past the turning to Walbert/International Dealership. Keep taking the unblocked route options, and you will pass through a village called Wickersham and then get to a track on the left where the tarmac road ahead is blocked.
Follow this track and you will wind your way up to the logging area, arriving at the far end from the green symbol where you pick up the loads.
All fully detailed along the route - wonder why it wasn't put on the map???

Because SCS likes to put some easter egg roads for us to find. ;)

Its the first I have found myself - followed several that people have posted about here, or seen on YouTube. Waiting for some one to tell me this route has been known about since a fortnight after Washington DLC dropped!
Makes me wonder how many more there are hidden?

I know that a guy on YT did a video on it.
Also, there is a mod called Bellingham Heights that has that road.
It's easier to go up this road to the log camp.
I LIKE IT!:steamhappy:

Found most of those I think - like the "Nothing" one (which I only found after looking it up), and the Forest Shortcut.

Thanks for pointing these out Neil and kwolf55, I hadn't found either of these hidden routes. I wish once you found them they would mark them on the map.

There are lots of unmapped roads/cul-de-sac/viewpoints... etc. in game. I hope there will be more with each future patch.

I think SCS enjoy adding these easter eggs, so there will be more for sure...

I noticed that the back road from the logging camp to Bellingham is no longer blocked off. Not sure when it happened, but the road still doesn't show on the map.

Sometimes some points are being changed (with game updates). In the last update, it was some viewpoints. So maybe they changed something else.

Did it used to be blocked? I had always assumed it was just me failing to notice it WASN'T blocked!

I'm sure it was never blocked, it's just not marked on the map (and never will be).

I'm fairly sure that that route was blocked when the Washington DLC was first released. I vaguely remember jumping the barricade at the end of the street (State Street Exit) and also at the logging camp. At the time I was wondering why the route was blocked off as it seemed ready for use. Perhaps they changed that on the first update.

Somewhere at SCS there's the developer who's in charge of the maps who found out after release he forgot to put some routes on the map - and thanking everyone for just thinking they're "easter eggs". lol
