Working for one company
It would be nice if you play euro truck you can not only take assignments, but you can also work for, for example, 1 company that hires you. This way you can earn money for your own company

Uh, that's pretty much how ATS works...
You start out working for a company, driving their trucks and you take jobs as they come from the job markets.
When you have enough money, you buy a garage and then a truck that is all yours.
At this point, you are running your own company, you are now able to work for yourself, and hire drivers that work for you.

No it's not. until you buy your own company you just pick a random job with a random truck. With a random company. You can't pick the same company with the same truck every time

Makes no sense. You have your own company and take contracts from several clients, OR you are just an employee. It's pretty much the same, like in the real world. Why would one have his own company, just to work for one single client? As i said, that would make no sense.

Well for one, most o/o's do only work for one company. And two, you're not an employee for one company, you're a free agent to choose who's truck you drive and whatnot until you get your own truck.

Idk why you guys are having such a hard time understanding what the op is saying 🤦

Thats not true
I know people who drive for 1 company which tells him to pick up a load at for example the docks and bring it to place XXXX

But if the OP wants to role play what they're requesting it is perfectly possible in either ATS or ETS2 by restricting yourself to jobs from a single in-game company, whether that be via Quick Jobs or any of the other job sources.

You can just own your own truck and keep driving to the same location for the same company or keep looking in other states and such for the same company. The limits are really only up to you.

Pro-tip only take jobs to or from the one company you want to work for. Then guess what, you're simulating being a driver for that one company.

It's somewhat unrealistic though because even working for a company as a long haul doesn't mean you'll delivery to or from the company on a job, they likely also take 3rd party stuff on contract. The only real issue is that IRL you tend to drive the same truck, but of course that's an option too since you can limit to certain trucks.

Don't expect Americans to understand European things. It just doesn't work. :steamhappy:

Literally no one is understanding what the op is saying.

He wants to be hired to one company with the same truck before he buys his own truck. You know , like the real world when you get your CDL. What's so hard to understand about that?

Filter/Sort Quick Jobs by sending company.
Upon arrival at receiver company, filter jobs again from your 'preferred company' and even your preferred truck. Repeat until you can buy your own truck.

The Quick Jobs also provide an excellent way of 'test driving' trucks under real game conditions.

I get what he's saying. The problem is there are no other trucking companies in game. Only yourself as a free agent or your own company after you get a truck.

All of the companies in the game that you do quick jobs for are not trucking companies. They are clients.

He wants there to be other trucking companies in the game to work for besides yourself.
To get dispatched to jobs by them, to use an assigned company truck, etc.
