On Board Computer Not Working
Now when I say computer, I mean the GPS and the Display between the guages. This tarted yesterday, so I made a new profile with no mods and it still doesn’t work. On my main profile, I removed every mod that may effect/ cause this issue. If you would like me to post a pastebin link I will but this really annoys me.

Is anyone else having the same issues?

I had the same problem with the Kenworth W990. Then I read somewhere here in the discussions that if you save, quit and re-start ATS (maybe more than once), the problem resolves itself. It worked for me. The thing is, everytime I had the truck in the shop for maintenance and if I made any changes, the issues would return and I had to do the steps again. I just traded in the W990 for a Mack CHU and again the same problem, but only with the Display and not the GPS. Maybe it's something related to DX-11?

Had this problem last night as well in my Kenworth W900 and was the first time I have seen this happen. I had just done maintenance on the truck and noticed it after that. I had to reload an autosave from before I got the maintenance and it was working again. I am not running DX11 so it may eliminate that as a cause.

DX11 could very well be the culprit, it is experimental still.

I had the issue running DX9 so at least in my case DX11 was not the problem.

Stupid question but did you mapped buttons for gps and dash comp? And did you try to turn on both of them?

Just something you may have overlooked with your suggestion.
Dashboard Map Mode: Is the GPS which can be turned off and on.
Dashboard Display Mode: Is the LCD info display which can not be turned on or off. It will only be off when the ignition is off.

I did have this issue with a mod truck (specifically K200) when it simply existed in the mod folder. At that time none of my trucks showed dashboard info until I removed that mod.
I'm suspecting that SCS has changed some code in the relevant ui/dashboard.txt files because all I had to do to get the K200 working properly recently, was link its dashboard.txt to the SCS Kenworth W900 and everything worked. I had attempted this previously but no change was seen. I eventually discarded the truck until the author fixed it. Which they didn't.

Well I might close this thread because it’s no longer just something with mods.

Your claim is an accusation based on opinion and emotion.
Then you admit to deleting the appcahe, but omit the reason.
You then get angry and blame all but you no doubt "each time".:steamfacepalm:

Im having the same issue. It seems to be more prominent when using a mod truck ex the cascadia, then going back to a scs base model truck. Thats when i have noticed the issue more. Also I notice it alot when i go into quick job.

*If the truck is a mod truck, you would need to take that up with the modder.
-As for the default game trucks, I had no issues with the truck's dash system. Because of the great detail and how well the dash system is set, including the layout of the enviroment map of the state, I do not even use the gps UI screen. I use the truck dash instead to fallow the gps, speed, fuel, and what not. And fallow the roadway marker on the road.
