I had the issue running DX9 so at least in my case DX11 was not the problem.
Been mapper since I got the game.
Dashboard Map Mode: Is the GPS which can be turned off and on.
Dashboard Display Mode: Is the LCD info display which can not be turned on or off. It will only be off when the ignition is off.
I'm suspecting that SCS has changed some code in the relevant ui/dashboard.txt files because all I had to do to get the K200 working properly recently, was link its dashboard.txt to the SCS Kenworth W900 and everything worked. I had attempted this previously but no change was seen. I eventually discarded the truck until the author fixed it. Which they didn't.
Then you admit to deleting the appcahe, but omit the reason.
You then get angry and blame all but you no doubt "each time".
-As for the default game trucks, I had no issues with the truck's dash system. Because of the great detail and how well the dash system is set, including the layout of the enviroment map of the state, I do not even use the gps UI screen. I use the truck dash instead to fallow the gps, speed, fuel, and what not. And fallow the roadway marker on the road.
