I've been running the heavy duty tyres without any issues this whole time. Swapping out the rear standard tyres with the heavy duty ones makes absolutely no difference whatsoever to the chassis height.
Only the front set *slightly* raises the front, which really should actually *help* with getting under a slightly low trailer.

Set to zero, see if that lets you get under, not sure if it actually lowers the chassis at all though (it does move but hard to say if it stabilises at a lower height).
No, Vanilla. I haven't encountered it yet in ATS, but some of SCS Michelin tires in ETS were larger than standard and raised the truck too high to fit under the trailers. So I can see how the same thing could happen in ATS also if they add oversize tires like those Michelin. See this thread.
